Russia’s Rosneftegaz to pay 18.5 bln rbl to budget until Dec 22
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russian state energy holding Rosneftegaz is to transfer 18.5 billion rubles to the budget until December 22, the Federal State Property Management Agency said in a statement late on Monday.
“The Russian government directives also order a payment by Rosneftegaz of interim dividends for the first nine months of 2016 in a volume amounting to the difference between a 710.8 billion ruble price of a stake and the real sum of the Rosneft stake sale with the deadline for the payment no later than December 22, 2016,” the agency said.
“Rosneftegaz’ dividends will amount to about 18.5 billion rubles.”
On December 10, Rosneftegaz signed a deal to sell 19.5% in Rosneft to a consortium of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) fund and Swiss commodity trader 10.2 billion euros, or 692 billion rubles.
The 2016 federal budget law envisages a 703.5 billion ruble transfer from the sale of Rosneft. Taking into account the 18.5 billion ruble interim dividends of Rosneftegaz, the budget will receive 7.3 billion rubles more from the deal.
